1. Program Description/Eligibility: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN; PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE ODDS OF WINNING. This contest and the referral program are open only to residents located in Nova Scotia, Canada (“Winner”). Entities and employees (including immediate family members) of ABC Insurance are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. Entries must be received, or automatic entries must occur, between May 1, 2011, and August 31, 2012 (“Entry Period”). See paragraph 4 below “How to Enter”. There will be twelve monthly prize, drawing on the 1st of every month, starting June 1, 2011 for the prizes listed below one through twelve (“monthly prizes”). There will be one grand prize drawing on September 1, 2012 for the prize listed below as thirteen (“grand prize”).

If the actual value of prize turns out to be less than the stated actual retail value (ARV), the difference will not be awarded in cash. Sponsor reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability. If Prize is not claimed within sixty (60) days after draw date it will be forfeited. Winners will be contacted by phone, as per number provided on ballot, on the date of the draw. Two more attempts will be made within ten (10) days after the draw date if the winner has not been reached. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) for the prize will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize. Prize is awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
4. How to Enter: Eligible residents will be entered into a random drawing for the current “monthly prize” and the “grand prize” after submitting a online referral ballot, your referral advising an ABC Insurance Professional that they were referred by you, or calling ABC Insurance with a referral. In any of the above entries the Referee’s Name, Phone Number, and/or Email address plus the Name, Phone number, and/or Email address of the person being referred must be provided. Any resident of Nova Scotia, 18 years or older, can submit referrals and there is no limit to the number of referrals you can submit. If duplicate referrals are submitted, the first referral submitted will qualify. The Winner will be determined by a random drawing of all eligible entries received. Odds of winning the prize are based upon the number of eligible entries received. The drawing Winner will be notified by telephone and/or email within five (5) business days of the selection. Winner will have sixty (60) days from notification to accept the prize by picking it up at the office, 159 Wyse Road, Dartmouth, NS B3A 1M5, between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). No responsibility is assumed by ABC Insurance for lost, late, or misdirected entries or any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of ABC Insurance and will not be returned.
5. General Conditions: Participants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of ABC Insurance, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this program. Participants further grant to ABC Insurance the right to use and publish their proper name and photo online, in print, and in any other media in connection with the contest. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for ABC Insurance to use the participant’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. By entering, participants release and hold harmless ABC Insurance, its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this program or any prize won.
6. Internet: If for any reason the internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of ABC Insurance that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, ABC Insurance reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest. ABC Insurance assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications-line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. ABC Insurance is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software, or for failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by ABC Insurance items on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest. Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Winner’s Name: For the name of the prize winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: ABC Insurance, 159 Wyse Road, Dartmouth, NS Attn: Marketing Department. Requests received after one month following the drawing date will not be fulfilled.
